Matthew 5:28-29

But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with
lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell.

The First Date (15 FACTS)

THE FIRST DATE (For Christians)
(And maybe the next 500 dates if it goes that far)

15 Facts
  1. The ultimate very first fact is that you should pray before you go!  ASK;
    • God to bless your situation! Ask this for you and your date; and to help you both be strong and to be able to resist all temptation.
    • To be attentive to his will and commandments.
    • To guide you.
    • Thank him for being with you! It won't be just you and your date.
    • To help you remember that it is a divine encounter. God is watching!
    • Thank God and say AMEN!
  2. Don't  dress seductively and have good personal hygienic and a fresh breath.Extremely provocative clothing may give the impression that you are only looking for a physical encounter. As a Christian you should never dress this way.
  3. The place you go to should not be crowded.  You and your date need to  be able to focus on each other and not have the distraction of too much going on around you.
  4. Make sure it's not too deserted so you don't draw negative attention.
  5.  Pick a nice, simple place where you can relax and enjoy yourselves.
  6. Find a place where it will easy to break the ice and reduce tension ;out for a coffee or soda, comedy clubs,  coffee house, arcades, and bowling or miniature golf are all  good ideas to break the ice and remove tension on the first date.(Don't forget to Pray)
  7. Be yourself and use restraint; this is a time to get to know each other and remember you are just getting to know each other so don't try to impress. Being yourself is naturally attractive. And being a Christian is natural and honest.
  8. Keep your attitude  upbeat and positive in your conversation and discussions. Be pleasant and happy.
  9. Be attentive! Keep your focus on God.
  10. Engage in conversation but try to focus on your date instead of bragging.
  11. Ask some questions but take your time and give your date a chance to answer. Don't hog the conversation.Remember it's not about you. It's about both of you and what God's will is in the situation.
  12. Don't  talk about problems or past problems and don't ask your date about his or hers. Make sure the conversation is edifying.
  13. Listen when your date is speaking. And don't look around the room.Maintain eye contact.Respond.
  14. If you had a good time let your date know! Be sincere to the truth!
  15. Kissing is sensual and can lead you in the wrong direction. So keep it toned down. Remember you hardly know this person and you are only acquaintances Christian!
